2 cups green (unripe) papaya. shredded on the side of a grater with large holes or a serrated vegetable peeler ½ red pepper. cut into long thin slices, ½ carrot, shredded on the side of a grater with large holes or a serrated vegetable peeler, 4 long green beans, finely chopped or pounded 1 cove of garlic, minced or pounded, ¼ cup red onion, minced or pounded, 2 Thai chilies, minced or pounded, ½ tablespoon ginger, minced or pounded, 2 Tomatoes.chopped or pounded, 10 pieces of cashew, chopped or pounded, 1 lime, juiced, ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped, ¼ cup fresh basil. Chopped ¼ cup fresh mint, chopped, 4 tablespoons Same Same but Different Fish Sauce, 1 teaspoon Agave Nectar, ½ teaspoon salt
Same Same but Different Fish Sauce 3 tablespoons hiziki seaweed, soaked in 1/3 cup of water, 1½ teaspoons sesame oil.2 tablespoons dulse fIakes, ½, large date, ¼ teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1 ½ teaspoons nama shoyu
I. Pound the ingredients for the salad together with mortar and
pestle or mince, chop and mix themin a bowl. Pound the chilies. ginger,
onion, and garlic first before adding a little of the other ingredients.
2 Toss in a small lime rind piece foradditional flavor.
3. Blend all the ingredients for thesauce including the one-third cup
of water until smooth.
